Empire in Motion
Every empire follows an arc: conquest, a golden age, then crisis and fragmentation. Drag the timeline along the bottom to scrub through the centuries, or push the military-strength and stability sliders to see how the shaded frontier advances, holds, and finally splinters into successor states.

What to try
- Scrub to the Golden Age. What is the largest area and population the empire ever reaches — and how long does that peak really last?
- Drag stability down to near zero during the Golden Age. Does raw military might keep the empire whole, or do the provinces revolt anyway?
- Crank military strength all the way up. Can conquest alone push the border across the mountains and the far coast?
- Watch the Provinces readout as you slide from Crisis to Fragmentation. When does one empire become many kingdoms?
- Which collapses an empire faster: letting time run out, or losing stability at its height? Why might history remember those two very differently?
