pH & Titration
Press and hold Add base to drip titrant into the acid, drop by drop. The pH barely moves at first, then rockets through the equivalence point in a single sharp jump — and your indicator flips colour right as it happens.
pH 2.88Vb 0.0 mLVeq 25.0 mL
What to try
- Why does the pH crawl slowly for most of the titration, then leap almost straight up near the middle?
- The acid started acidic — so why does the equivalence point land above pH 7 instead of exactly at 7?
- Which indicator flips closest to the true equivalence point, and which one would fool you into stopping too early?
- If you double the acid concentration, does it take twice as much base to reach equivalence? Watch the Veq readout.
- Add base very slowly right near the jump — how few drops separate a pale solution from a fully flipped one?
